Health & Wellbeing

At Twinings Ovo we recognise that health and wellbeing is a key component of your overall experience of working here. It can directly influence your engagement and when you feel that you are your best, healthiest self you are more likely to perform at your best and can contribute to a positive, dynamic and supportive environment.

What is Wellbeing?

Wellbeing refers to the state of being comfortable, healthy, and happy.  It encompasses physical, mental, and emotional health, as well as factors like social connections, a sense of purpose, and overall life satisfaction.  Wellbeing is not just the absence of illness or stress but includes positive aspects such as feeling fulfilled, balanced, and content in various areas of life.  It can vary from person to person based on their needs, experiences, and values.

Wellbeing at Twinings Ovo

At Twinings Ovo we recognise that health and wellbeing is a key component of your overall experience of working here.  Feeling at our best and healthiest can have a positive impact on our engagement and productivity at work, helping us to actively contribute within a work environment as well as having a positive impact on our personal lives.

There are a number of wellbeing resources available to you and we encourage you to spend time focussing on your health and wellbeing and how you can help it to improve.

Physical Wellbeing

It important to keep your body as fit and healthy as possible.  Our physical health can impact on our mental health with conditions such as anxiety and depression, as well as affecting our stress tolerance and cognitive agility.  Our physical wellbeing helps to support our mental wellbeing and in turn our relationships, career and even our finances.

Mental Wellbeing

Mental health exists on a spectrum – from surviving to thriving – and we all have it, all of the time.  Wherever you are on that scale, you deserve to have access to the right mental health support for your own journey.

Maintaining a healthy mind leads to a healthier you and looking after our mental health is as important as our physical health.

Medical Wellbeing

“Prevention is better than cure” – and this is true when it comes to our health.  Focussing on our health can be beneficial for stopping some health issues arising in the first place.  Having access to regular health assessments and health care plans means that you will be able to proactively manage your health and wellbeing.

Financial Wellbeing

Financial wellbeing, put simply, is about having a positive relationship with your money. It includes feeling in control of your finances, knowing how to make the most of your money from day to day and being on track for a healthy financial future.
