Our History
Twinings’ Master Blenders have been blending tea for more than 300 years. For us, tea is more than just a drink. It's been part of our daily lives and the lives of generations of tea lovers. Find out more about our history here.
Sourced with Care is part of Twinings’ responsible sourcing programme. Every day in gardens and farms around the world, hundreds of thousands of people are growing, tending and harvesting the finest ingredients. Without these people, their skills and the environment where our ingredients grow, a cup of Twinings tea would not be possible. Sourced With Care is our way of recognising the vital role that these people and their communities play through programmes that aim to promote positive change through empowering women, supporting incomes, and improving living standards. We also collaborate with others in the tea sector, including the Ethical Tea Partnership, to develop a more sustainable tea industry. Read more here.

Our Locations
We are an international business with offices and manufacturing sites across the world, employing over 2700 employees, creating brands that people love.
We operate a decentralised model. We do not have large central staff groups directing the business; our belief is that inquisitive people in local businesses reaching out to collaborative people in international roles are best placed to understand, shape and meet the needs of our consumers.

We work hard to offer equal opportunities for everyone, in an inclusive and healthy environment. As a wellbeing drinks business, we also recognise the relationship between wellbeing and D,E&I, and how you can’t have one without the other, which is why we align our wellbeing and D,E&I strategies.
D,E&I is hugely important to us at Twinings Ovaltine. To create a diverse and inclusive business we started by developing a range of programmes to build awareness, knowledge and understanding. This programme has now evolved to incorporate D,E&I across our businesses, through our policies and practices across the whole employee lifecycle, starting with attraction, recruitment and onboarding, through to personal development and career progression. Whilst we have made good progress to date, we recognise that there is always more to be done and we are focused on continuing our work in this area as we recognise the importance of having a diverse and inclusive business.
